Broadcast Quality Timelines

If you are a fan of snooker, you may have noticed the 3D timelines used by the BBC recently during their tournament coverage. In case you missed it on television, you can see a couple of them on the BBC website.

Broadcast Editor Peter Wiggins produced a series of twenty timeline motion graphics for the BBC using Bee Docs Timeline 3D. Now you can create broadcast quality 3D timelines for your project using the same software that the pros use.

Presenting History in 3D

The key to understanding history is to see the connections between historical events. What are the cause and effect relationships? What people or events influenced artists, politicians, writers and kings?

Presenting timelines in 3D is more than just eye candy. It enables you to tell a story, view relationships, and move through history in a tangible way.

We like to say that Bee Docs Timeline 3D “puts history in perspective.”

3D Timelines in Keynote

Bee Docs Timeline 3D was designed to be an integrated part of the Mac OS X experience. One example is the integration with Apple’s Keynote presentation software.

With a single click, send your 3D timeline to Keynote as a series of slides or you can combine full motion 3D timelines with multimedia, titles and bullet points.

Watch the tutorial by Don McAllister who demonstrates how he built his own presentation slides using Bee Docs Timeline 3D and Keynote.
